Profile: Ruby red color, smell of berries and spices, persistent, pleasant and versatile structure in the drink. Great return and in its enveloping simplicity like a hug. Balanced and savory.

Winery: Fattoria Carpineta Fontalpino is located on the slopes of the Montaperti hill where the epic battle between the Sienese Ghibellines and the Florentine Guelphs took place on 4 1260. The company has been organic for many years now, producing about 100,000 bottles per year of fine wines respecting the traditions of this wonderful territory. 

Terroir: The soils are composed of mixed clayey sands, a good stony skeleton.

Serving: Best served at approx. 16° C (61° F)

Pairings: This Chianti pairs perfectly with soups; like cabbage soup, kale and bean soup, or typical Tuscan appetizers such as bruschetta, cheese and salami.
