Description: Intense brown color, releases a fantastic aroma of walnut husk,
until it reaches hints of cherries in alcohol
Profile: The walnuts, harvested from the estate's walnuts, still covered by the husk green and tender, they are left to macerate in alcohol, according to an ancient Modenese recipe, for a variable period of at least 4 months.
A special feature of Nocino is the addition during maceration,
of vanilla sticks, imported exclusively from Madagascar.
Total production: 300 bottles/year
Terroir: Red soil, galestro and stony ground and it's supported at 3 m underground by a clay cove that gives vineyards relief during drought seasons, keeping roots properly moisted.
